Palladian staff raise just under £200 for Children in Need

When bindery manager Paul Neill said he'd give an extra £5 to Children in Need if any one of the Palladian team came to work in fancy dress, Lesley Patterson had a brilliant idea. The next morning she burst through the door dressed as a St Trinian's girl, giving everyone a smile and pushing our whole-team charity drive nearer to raising a final total of almost £200.

Fancy dress was just one of the ways Palladian staff raised money: inspired by a 'Do Something Different' theme, they got cracking under the guidance of lead organiser Paul. Activities included a competition to guess the name of a baby, a contest to guess the number of sweets in a jar (442 since you ask!), a non-uniform day and creating a massive "Pudsey" scratch card decorated with a picture of the famous Children in Need mascot...

The contribution made by Palladian staff was one of many that helped the charity raise over £19 million to support children and young people realise their potential. Palladian is definitely going to get involved again, and would love your support to raise even more. As Paul says: "everyone pitched in and had a laugh, and we're already planning what we're going to do to help Children in Need next year".
