Further Investment in Capital Equipment

Last autumn Palladian Press saw the beginning of a significant programme of investment that began with purchase of a state of the art Heidelberg CD74 five colour press with coater – one of the most advanced in the world – and a Heidelberg Speedmaster 52 two-colour press, lifting productivity by some 40%.  The next stage of that investment has been to take delivery of a Stahlfolder TH66 buckle folder with continuous feeder that will go into the bindery department.

“Finishing is as important to us as getting the rest of the job right”, said Managing Director, Paul Douglas.  “We’ve made a substantial investment in our bindery including a D+K laminator and can now handle around 90% of finishing in-house.  As designers become more creative and the customer needs products that stand out from the crowd, we have to be ready to meet the challenge.”

Palladian handles all types of print products from leaflets through to corporate brochures and prestigious reports and accounts.  Ten or twelve fold concertina leaflets or complex gatefolds can be created with no problems, allowing the customer access to new, exciting options for their promotional materials.
