- GATEFOLD -a fold where the outside edges are brought into the middle.
- GHOSTING - a fault where the density of ink is inconsistent due to uneven capacity of ink on the rollers during the printing process.
- GLOSS - a shiny reflective paper or finish.
- GRADUATED SCREEN - a variation of the DPI in order to obtain a faded or more saturated print.
- GRAIN - the direction of fibres in paper.
- GSM - an abbreviation for grams per square metre. Used to denote the thickness of paper or board.
