  • GATEFOLD -a fold where the outside edges are brought into the middle.
  • GHOSTING - a fault where the density of ink is inconsistent due to uneven capacity of ink on the rollers during the printing process.
  • GLOSS - a shiny reflective paper or finish.
  • GRADUATED SCREEN - a variation of the DPI in order to obtain a faded or more saturated print.
  • GRAIN - the direction of fibres in paper.
  • GSM - an abbreviation for grams per square metre. Used to denote the thickness of paper or board.
